North Fork of the Maquoketa River
The North Fork of the Maquoketa River may be even more scenic than the South Fork for canoeists; however, the only
public accesses on the North Fork at this time, is the Caven Bridge Access located off 60th Ave and Davison Bridge
access 1.5 miles East of Highway 61 on county road 212th Ave. Other undeveloped accesses occur on road
right-of-ways or on private land and landowner permission should be obtained before using those.
