Joinerville Park
Four miles west of Maquoketa on Highway 64 and 2 miles north on 123rd Ave., is the major
recovery point for canoeists that float the Maquoketa River. A concrete boat ramp is provided
for easy access to the river. A small primitive camping and picnic area is available with a foot
trail connecting it to the hilltop. This land was a gift from the Wilbur Siders and Melvin Joiner
families.

Camping: Camping is restricted to registered campers only. To register for a campsite you
need to obtain a permit from the Jackson County Conservation Board at the Hurstville
