Friends of Jackson County Conservation

The Friends of Jackson County Conservation is a group that was formed to support and assist the Jackson
County Conservation Board. The Friends organization has a seven member Board of Directors created to
help guide the group.
Members of the Friends of Jackson County Conservation will receive an invitation to the annual Friends
meeting. Other benefits may include the free rental of a pair of snowshoes and free use of other equipment.
Once the Center is built there will be special discounts on products in the gift shop. Plus, you get to put your
"two cents" in on the addition of new displays at the Hurstville Interpretive Center as well as other activities
sponsored by the Friends group. Friends members will also receive the Jackson County Conservation Board
newsletter.
Membership is on a fiscal year from July 1st to June 30th. In order to receive the benefits listed in the
brochure you must have your card with you.
Regular Membership (individuals between age of 18 and 62): $10.00
Student Membership (Individuals under the age of 18): $5.00
Senior Citizen Membership (Individuals over the age of 62): $5.00
Family Membership (Families): $20.00
Sustaining Membership (Businesses, organizations, other interested parties): $50.00
